Kate Jordan
Una Sera di Danza: Premier of an evocative, dynamically charged
solo featuring Philadelphia-based dancer Lindsay Delooze.
Kate holds an MFA in Dance from SUNY Brockport and BS in Marketing from
Grove City College. She has trained throughout the Pittsburgh, Chicago
and Rochester (NY) areas at Point Park College, Slippery Rock University,
Joel Hall Dance Center, Lou Conte Dance Center and Garth Fagan Dance.
Since moving to Philadelphia in 2004, Kate has performed with MERGE Dance/Meghan
Durham, 7Dance Company, At Marah Dance Theatre, Co-art Dance Company and
Gwendolyn Bye's Dancefusion. She has taught at DeSales University, Messiah
Dance Works and Jeanne Ruddy Dance. For more information, please visit

Melissa Caterina Chisena
Una Sera di Danza: Wonderfully fierce dancing in collaboration
with original music fuse together to create a brilliant union between
the dancer and the instruments.
Melissa Chisena started her dance career with the New Paltz Ballet Theatre,
dancing and training for Peter and Lisa Naumann. At the age of seventeen,
she went to dance professionally with The North Carolina Dance Theatre,
and after with The Richmond Ballet. Melissa began exploring and falling
in love with modern dance during her summers at The American Dance Festival.
At the festival, she was chosen to perform a work choreographed by Miguel
Rhobles as a part of the International Choreographer’s Commissioning Program
and a work choreographed by Richard Siegal. Melissa also has been a guest
artist at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Her own choreography has
been featured at The North Carolina Dance Theatre, Richmond Ballet, American
Dance Festival, Philadelphia Dance Theatre, Regional Dance America and
various dance competitions across the United States. Melissa is currently
dancing with Tania Isaac Dance, Merge Dance, PIMA Group, and does her
own solo work in Philadelphia, PA.
Tara Lynne Madsen 
Una Sera di Danza: Tara will be presenting two new solo works performed
by Josh Knowlton (NYC Based Dancer) and Tara Madsen. Original music created
by Peter Jones
will accompany both pieces.
Tara Madsen, originally from New Jersey, earned her MFA in Performance
and Choreography from Smith College where she was awarded a teaching fellowship
and the Gretchen K Moran Scholarship. She is currently performing with
the Tania Isaac Dance Company. She has presented her original choreography
internationally at The 33rd International Choreographers Showcase at the
Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland at The Roxy House Theater as well
as The 28th International Choreographer’s Showcase in Barcelona at Mercat
de les Flors-Ciutat del Teatre and in Madrid at Sala Cuarta Pared presented
by Dance Forms Productions. Nationally, she has presented her work at
various venues such as PS 122 in NYC, the Solar Powered Dance Festival
2005 and 2006 in NYC, The Monterey Dance Fest in California, The Durham
Arts Council in North Carolina and the American College Dance Festival
Association. She is currently adjunct faculty at DeSales University in
Center Valley, PA. In the spring of 2007 her work "Breaking Ground" (2006)
was commisioned for the DeSales University Dance Ensemble concert. She
received her BA in Dance from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania
where she was awarded "The Outstanding Choreographer Award" and the Lucy
Isaac Sack Scholarship. Tara is also a Certified GYROTONIC® instructor
at The Balance Point in Philadelphia.
